Important Update: Transition of MS 1480:2025
Please be informed that MS 1480:2025 Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) was published on 24 October 2025. The Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM) has agreed of two (2) year transition period from the publication date.
All organisations currently certified to MS 1480:2019 are required to transition to MS 1480:2025 within this period. From 24 October 2027 onwards, certificates issued to MS 1480:2019 will no longer be valid.

ISO 9001:2026 is the upcoming update to the quality management standard, expected in September 2026. The revision strengthens risk management, integrates climate-related considerations, enhances leadership and quality culture, and aligns QMS more closely with business strategy. The Draft International Standard (ISO/DIS 9001) is under global review and will replace ISO 9001:2015 once finalized. (Source: International Organization for Standardization)

Malaysia has introduced the National Sustainability Reporting Framework (NSRF), which will make sustainability reporting mandatory for all Main Market and ACE Market listed companies, as well as large non-listed firms. The NSRF will be implemented in phases starting 2025 to 2027. This move ensures Malaysian businesses remain competitive and meet rising global expectations for climate and sustainability disclosures.
